AS9100 uses all the ISO 9001 standards as a foundation, building on additional regulatory requirements and notations pertaining specifically to aerospace quality needs. Instead of being produced by ISO, AS9100 is backed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). Ensuring certification under this more demanding quality management system means knowing which element to get right and how. This 5-day course was developed to cover all requirements of both the ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D standards.
Within the 5-day AS9100 Lead Auditor Training, you'll learn to:
- Understand the application of quality management principles in the context of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016.
- Relate the quality management system to the organizational products, services, activities, and operational processes.
- Relate the organization’s context and interested party needs and expectations to the planning and implementation of an organization’s quality management system.
