The primary intent of this new standard is to improve overall product quality. AS13100 will be a required supplement to AS9100 and AS9145 that focuses on customer specific requirements for Aircraft Engine OEMs. An understanding of both ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D requirements and/or work experience in applying AS9100:2016 is recommended.
